Portals from Feb 21, 2013

"Julia, Portal"
prismacolor pencil on black paper

"Julia, Portal Open"
prismacolor pencil on black paper

The "Julia, Portals" are both prismaclor pencil on A4 black paper. It goes along the idea that a doorway or portal can be created by just creating a sealed frame, the image inside the frame is some what different to the out side of the frame (sharper, lighter, more focused) . Going through the portal to another world, often looking the same as our own, but as you pass through the doorway, these familiar people you see are now strangers.

Cage from Feb 13, 2013

prismacolor pencil on black paper

I accidentally bought a 11"x14" black paper instead of an A3, now I'm going to live with it. We will see how I go with this odd size (nothing ever came of it). The tentacles could have been text, something I should try, maybe just my own name in tentacle, we could have a tentacle alphabet. I need to do more ribs. Ribs and skulls. Ribs, skulls, donuts, and soft-serve ice-cream.

Julia, red droplets from Feb 10, 2013

prismacolor pencil on black paper

I used a red fungus as a reference for the floating red droplets. Her iris red and melting. Julia has strong under-lighting, I still like the all the shadows.
I'm still using a yellow underline.

The Worm People from Feb 6, 2013

"The Worm People"
prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper,
297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

I was going for an orgy of bodies but it fell apart. In the end though the drawing turned out ok.
The girls fused together like Cat-Dog. Tentacles flow from a girls head like hair. Extra hands hold an opening.

The hip fusion came out well, with lots of wrinkle lines, which I like, this contributed to the worm title.

Julia, Crows from Jan 31, 2013

"Julia, Crows"
prismacolor pencil on black paper

"Exit the crows." I had this idea before drawing "Julia, Second Lick" with the tentacles exiting the eyes. Originally it was to be screaming birds, but I had not drawn any tentacles in a long time and had to get it out of my system.
The crows were harder, they had to be big but not too big that they could not get their beaks out, with tentacles size doesn't matter.

The portrait is in landscape to fit the hands in, the hair is lost time the darkness, no halo or aura. If this was done again, the crows' beaks would be much larger. But again I am happy with this.

Julia, Second Lick from Jan 29, 2013

Julia, Second Lick
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Tentacles exiting the eye. The same old pink, purple colour of the tentacle, some under lighting on Julia's face. Prismacolor pencil on black A4 paper.

Unfazed by the parasite exiting the face. There my be some form of symbiosis, I do like to think of it as all tentacle under a sack of skin.

I am happy with this portrait.

Julia, Centipede from Jan 26, 2013

Julia, Centipede
prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper, 297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

From the second photo shoot with Julia, I got a few good shots to use. But with all the pre-thought and planning with notes taken before the shoot, I still got only 5 usable shots like last time.

This is the first A3 drawing of Julia.

This was a good one, with a nice chain reaction of nose on chin and flows down starting with another nose on chin, fitting in four mouths. It slowly curves down, with the angle. I'm using multiple photo references, where a lazier me would use only one, and repeat it down, I was lucky to have the forethought to take multiangled photos of the same pose this time.

Big Mac from Jan 11, 2013

prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper,
297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

Le Big Mac, this is about as much I wanted from this drawing, other ideas start to show up later, but by then it was too late. And like the soft serve ice cream, I expect I'll do more Big Macs.

I do like the Big Mac, the burger, It may not be my number one meal, as my desires change like the wind.

Rainbow aura, something I would like to see more pastel. And it's the yellow that kills it for me. Yellow is not the best colour, it takes a lot of work to make yellow stick in prismacolor. I would use the colour for my under drawing, line work and mapping markers, something I should return to, using purple these days.

The girl who sits, with her oversized head, stares off into the distance.

The bun makes a good cushion.

The whole thing is repeatable with different girls and burgers.

Prawn from 2012

Prawn
prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper,
297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

Girl stares at prawn. The shadows on the face is what I think makes this drawing. The hair colour was effective, with a negative colour effect for the dark shadows of the hair. This is another drawing where half the time was spent on the back ground, with sky and clouds. Endless colouring black in blue.

The Opening from 2012

The Opening
prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper,
 297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

The Opening, tentacles pulled, or removed from the mouth, like a parasite removed from the host. A tentacle crown and a heart hover overhead. Many hands, eight.

This is the tentacle colour I have stuck with mostly, a purple, pink that is some what translucent, which to me feels jelly-like, sweet and eatable.

Julia from Dec 21, 2012

"Julia, An opening"

"Julia"

"Julia, Salt to Snail"

"Julia, Biter"

"Julia, Inhale"
prismacolor pencil on black paper

I work with Julia, she was a waitress at the Chinese restaurant I work at, and she agreed to model for me. We got some good shots, beside jamming roses into her mouth, she did some great spit bubbles, some with milk, and some thing I had never seen before when she gargled a raw egg.

The egg sat in her mouth as she lay back in a bathtub, then the yellow yoke would drop back into her throat as foaming bubbles would spew forward out of her mouth, the bubbles un-breaking, creating a Santa sized beard of bubbles. The use of egg is up there with the use of strawberry syrup topping in these photo shoots.

Julia became a reoccurring model and one of the best I ever had.

Princess Peach soft-serve from Dec 7, 2012

Princess Peach soft-serve
prismacolor pencil on black A3 paper, 297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

Zelda 2 was mostly the only game I played on the Nintendo when I got my hands on the console, there were others but they didn't mean as much to me.

But after watching "The Wizard" it all changed and Super Mario 3 was all I could think about, and played endlessly.

Until I saw Doom2 on a friends computer, I thought games could only be innocent, sure there was shooting and blood on the nes and snes, but not like this, not as dark and chilling, and scary.

This drawing pretty much sums up my desires at the time of drawing it, gaming, smut and Ice cream.

The doom guy face in the ice-cream cone was gratifying, as was the spiralling ice-cream itself. The whole thing was a pleasure to do. The most challenging part were the wrinkles in the soles of the feet.

The end of November 2012

HandMouth
prismacolor pencil on black paper

HandMouth, a hand exits the mouth, not unlike vomiting up a whole human being. A lot of drool and bubbles.

Cough
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Cough, a choking cough produces a butterfly. I really like this one, it came out really well. The wrinkles in the chin.

SkullFace
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Half face half skull, it always comes out good. I can see why it was on a lot of book covers in the 80's.

Servicing
prismacolor pencil on black paper

A girl, cleans and takes care of a tentacle.

Bilingual
prismacolor pencil on black paper

X  Tentacles exit the mouth, the head coming out of the darkness. A lot of shine on the face, giving it a sweaty look.

Butterflyskull
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Butterflyskull, I was not very happy with, I was trying to fill that negative space of the nose with a monarch butterfly but it just didn't have any magic in it.

A Drowning
prismacolor pencil on black paper

A siren in the water, this is at a time when I drew every night, every day, and felt I had to draw. and any subject was better than nothing. It does feel nice to do, but the overall result feels empty, just a pretty girl with tentacles.

Old Spiderbites from Nov 10, 2012

Second Spiderbite
The original Spiderbite
The Third Spiderbite
"Consumption" The Forth Spiderbite

These are some of the first drawing I did with prismacolor pencil, the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th to be more  accurate. The spider gag could have easily become tentacles, but the spider's abdomen made a good gag ball.

Alison from Nov 10, 2012

Alison
prismacolor pencil colour on black paper

I used to work with Alison at the restaurant. She modelled for me, and was a beautiful girl. This drawing had a lot of heavy under lighting, which brought out those nice shadows around the nose, under the eyes, and highlighting frown lines of the brow. It is over all a nice portrait.

This is a problem I get where I end up happy and satisfied before finishing a drawing and instead feel like I may ruin the drawing if I continue, destroying a week of work.

Melinda from Nov 10, 2012

Melinda 2
prismacolor pencil on black paper
Melinda 2, pulling cocoons from her eye, with a surreal, wooden, bio-mecanical background.
I like to use a lot of under lighting, that gives me that Frankenstein effect or ghost stories with a torch at a camp fire.

Melinda, is a good friend of mine, who was willing to do some modeling. It is not that easy for me to get models, I do feel like a creep, and do get shot down a lot.

Melinda 3
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Melinda 3, got more surreal, with replicating eyes and the wooden bio-mechanical free style. We had Melinda put her mouth under a tap and ran water, spilling from her lips, which created a nice visual effect, that once again I should do more often, even running water over the mouth upside down.

Melinda
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Melinda with a wooden background. I'm trying to capture the knots in the wood and the circling pattens around them.

We got a good many refence photos from the night. A lot of face pulling, and oral work, like hooking the mouth. Then it becomes hard to decide which shots to use. Like a kid in a candy store, but with only one dollar. I used to have a reoccurring dream where i was in a newsagency that was full of nothing but Mad magazines and I could only buy one, it was always very stressful.

The Third Succubus from Nov 8, 2012

The Third Succubus
prismacolor pencil on black paper

Tentacles for a groin and a shell of a face with tentacles reaching out, probing, as the naked body rests on its hand and heals in a crab walk pose.

Genital tentacles, is something I have done before, but I have not done it enough. Sucking, grabbing, with a beak. The shoes are neat too.

A Pretty Girl from Nov 5, 2012

A Pretty Girl
prismacolor pencil on black paper

A Pretty Girl, a reference I have taken from Pinterest, that I have found many artist have used. It's funny that just a drawing of a pretty girl will sell, almost every time. Again I'm fighting to keep it minimal, trying to finish it, or make it appear  finished, with out spending a month on the drawing. I'm leaving out the upper chest, keeping in the shoulders where there is light and shadow. I do not like a large surface area that is just flat skin, it takes a long time to simply colour in a flat surface like a butt cheek or thigh. It becomes hard not to put something over this kind of area like a tentacle, rose, or butterfly, just because the time to do so would be the same as colouring it in the colours of peach, green, and purple.

Second Succubus from Nov 5, 2012

Second Succubus
prismacolor pencil on black paper

I used a "can I has a cheeseburger" girl's hands for reference for the lower arms, replacing the burger for tentacles. Half skull half face, the skull exposed with the hood slightly lifted. The idea being with the hood down, only the nose a lips would be seen, no-one knowing the eyeless exposed skull was there until becoming face to face with the creature, to be then consumed by the tentacles.

This is me again trying to use the most of the black paper, looking for short cuts and keeping it minimalistic.

Chun Li

Chun Li
prismacolor pencil on black paper

 from Nov 1, 2012

Chun LI attacked by tentacles, in a hentai situation. Most of the drawing was pixelated, using a 2mm grid, then colouring in each square, bar the background, which is the usual green to purple mist.

When I first saw Street Fighter 2, in a corner shop in Sydney, I was blown away. I had never seen a game look so good, it was also one of the first times I was exposed to that style of anime. Before this, the best thing I had seen was Double Dragon.

The end of October 2012

Soft Serve Erotic Horror Murder Mystery
prismacolor pencil on black paper
297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)

from Oct 23, 2012

Soft Serve, Erotic Horror Murder Mystery. I like doing these. This one has a bit of a Scooby-Doo vibe though. I was getting into those soft-serve ice-creams that with its spirals I found satisfying. Slowly sugar becomes a strong subject form me, particularly donuts, which I find a sexual in context too. It seems ice-cream is a good replacement for bodily fluids.

The Lick
prismacolor pencil on black paper

from Oct 27, 2012

"The Lick". Half skull face girls, she is not the first and not the last, putting two cool things together, skulls and girls, they are always a pleasure to do, and I should do more, with ribs, bone, skulls, and tentacles.

Succubus
prismacolor pencil on black paper

from Oct 27, 2012

Succubus turned out rather well I thought. I might try it again soon enough. Lower limbs replaced with tentacles as well as the head, which come to be with the process of undressing.

Droplet
prismacolor pencil on black paper
from Oct 30, 2012

Droplet. Another gagged girl with tentacles exiting her mouth, strings of saliva web with bubbles, that at the time I thought was effective.

Spiderbite from Oct 22, 2012

prismacolor pencil on black paper
Gagging on a spider's abdomen is something I have been running with for quite a while (since October 2010) and I still like to bang one out now and then.

Tuesday, August 10, 2021

The Head from Oct 16, 2012

The Head
prismacolor pencil on black paper
297 x 420 mm, (11.7 x 16.5 in)
The Head is more on the surreal side, with the arms of the hands spiraling out and disintegrating. The back ground stuff was how I used to draw and paint in the 90's, unplanned bio mechanical, growing and replicating itself over itself, mutating. The Head alive and parasitic with tentacles reaching out and infecting. Snail shells are coming in, and will be a long repeating subject.

Skull tits from Oct 9, 2012

available
I thought I could bang this one out in a day or two, but it became more than a week. I had a plan to do another but since this one took so long, I'm going to scratch it.

I also thought the whole idea was rather original but later i came across this (link) on tumbler, I do not know the artist but it is way better executed.

Again filling space with monarch butterflies .

Milkshake W.I.P. from Sep 26, 2012

"Milkshake" pirsmacolor pencil on A3 black paper
It took about seven days, scanning the progress at the start of the new day, before starting again. Doing about 2 to 3 hours a night.
There was a minor problem when it came to putting in the milkshake, for a while I had to choose between milkshake or boob with no room for both. Until Di suggested putting it between the cleavage, solving everything.

I enjoyed doing this one, which is something I say a lot, but there are some drawings that are a long slog that don't seem to end and are full of flaws. The spewing of tentacles and the lighting on the glass of the milkshake paid off. Even their auras worked out.
