I used a "can I has a cheeseburger" girl's hands for reference for the lower arms, replacing the burger for tentacles. Half skull half face, the skull exposed with the hood slightly lifted. The idea being with the hood down, only the nose a lips would be seen, no-one knowing the eyeless exposed skull was there until becoming face to face with the creature, to be then consumed by the tentacles.
This is me again trying to use the most of the black paper, looking for short cuts and keeping it minimalistic.
