I used to work with Alison at the restaurant. She modelled for me, and was a beautiful girl. This drawing had a lot of heavy under lighting, which brought out those nice shadows around the nose, under the eyes, and highlighting frown lines of the brow. It is over all a nice portrait.
This is a problem I get where I end up happy and satisfied before finishing a drawing and instead feel like I may ruin the drawing if I continue, destroying a week of work.
